Drillcollar Slips

The Varco style DCS Drill Collar Slip provides superior holding power under all conditions. Each segment is manufactured of rugged material with an extra-long back to give maximum support to the circular buttons. The full, wrap around design compensates for irregularities and wear.

The circular buttons hold against load applied from all directions, which assures positive holding and slip setting.

The DCS Drill Collar Slips are flat on the top to accommodate all types of safety clamps.

Drillpipe Slips

SDXL and SDML rotary slips are for use in API standard insert bowls. They feature better contact and distribution of load on the drill pipe through a wraparound configuration insert design.

These slips help prevent bottlenecking and gouging damage. The body segments buttressed design provides strength while minimizing weight for ease of handling. The SDXL and SDML provide long, trouble free service under the most severe conditions. Inserts are changed by removing the nut and bolts in the insert retainer at the top of the die slot.
